Maybe I'm showing my age but this cool shot brings back memories of listening to the albums of my youth.

Duke

Did a shoot last fall about Duke Besozzi who harvests white oak for wooden boat building. Here's my first try
shooting video while moving with the Canon 5D Mark II. Not a good idea when the crunch of leaves from our footsteps
becomes so loud on the audio. The Mark II is extremely hard to focus shooting video as it has to be done manually.
Lessons learned.

Going thru some recent work from here on Maui of kiteboarding. I've been told more than once recently you can't shoot into the sun. Well here's to trying-

Hookipa

I caught some Naish riders enjoying a rising swell one recent morning at Hookipa on stand-up paddleboards or SUP's as they're called-

Jaws

Peahi or Jaws only breaks during a large swell on the north shore of Maui. Not so common is the right wind to sail there.
